Daniarmario was created with care as a personal wardrobe app for Dani. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how it is used.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address (for account creation, login, and email confirmation)
- Name (displayed in your profile)
- Password (securely stored and never visible to us)
You may also use the app in Guest Mode, which stores data only on your device without cloud synchronization. Guest data is deleted when you log out.
Wardrobe Content You Create
When you use Daniarmario, you may provide:
- Photos of clothing items (multiple images per garment)
- Photos of outfits (full looks you create)
- Receipt images (purchase receipts for your items)
- Care instruction photos (labels showing care instructions)
Clothing Details
For each item, you may add:
- Name, brand, and color
- Category, subcategory, and type
- Size information (with support for 9 international sizing standards: US, EU, UK, IT, FR, JP, CN, AU, DE)
- Purchase details (date, price, currency from 32 supported currencies)
- Occasions and seasons
- Material and thickness descriptions
- Care notes and personal notes
- Custom occasion tags
Outfit Information
- Outfit names and combinations
- Outfit classifications (Casual, Work, Formal, Sporty, Party, Beach, Travel, Relax, Event)
- Outfit photos
Usage Tracking
- Dates worn: When you mark items or outfits as worn
- Wear notes: Optional notes about each time you wore an item
- Wear statistics: Counts of days worn and last worn dates
Technical Information
- Device and app usage data
- Session tokens for authentication
- App preferences (language settings)
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the app's functionality, including:
- Storing and organizing your digital wardrobe across devices
- Creating, editing, and managing clothing items and outfits
- Tracking how often items or outfits are worn via calendar views
- Processing images for AI-powered features (auto-categorization, background removal)
- Synchronizing your wardrobe data across multiple devices
- Maintaining account security and session management
- Supporting password changes and account management
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
Daniarmario relies on trusted third-party services to function:
Supabase
- Purpose: Backend infrastructure including authentication, database storage, and file storage
- Data processed: Account information, wardrobe data, and all uploaded images
- Security: Row Level Security (RLS) ensures only you can access your data
- Privacy: Supabase Privacy Policy
OpenAI (GPT-4o)
- Purpose: AI-powered image analysis to automatically categorize clothing items and detect garments in outfit photos
- Data processed: Clothing and outfit images are sent for analysis
- What is extracted: Name suggestions, category, subcategory, type, brand, color, occasion, and season recommendations
- Privacy: Images are processed according to OpenAI's Privacy Policy and are not used for model training when accessed via API

- Data processed: Images sent for background removal processing
- Privacy: Images are processed securely according to remove.bg Privacy Policy
Note: This feature is optional and requires separate configuration
Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies and industry-standard security practices.
4. Data Storage & Security
Cloud Storage
- Your data is stored securely in Supabase's cloud infrastructure
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- Database access is protected by Row Level Security—only authenticated users can access their own data
Local Storage
- The app uses a local-first architecture with SQLite for instant data access
- A local copy of your data is stored on your device for offline functionality
- Local data synchronizes with the cloud when you have an internet connection
Image Storage
- All images (clothing, outfits, receipts, care labels) are stored in secure cloud storage buckets
- Images are accessible only to your authenticated account
Session Security
- Authentication sessions are persisted securely on your device
- Sessions automatically refresh and can be terminated by logging out
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access Your Data
- View all your wardrobe data within the app
- Access your account information in the Settings screen
Update Your Information
- Edit any clothing item or outfit details at any time
- Change your password from the Settings screen
- Update your language preferences
Delete Your Data
- Delete individual clothing items or outfits at any time
- Delete your entire account from Settings, which permanently removes:
- Your user profile
- All clothing items and associated images
- All outfits
- All usage history and statistics
- Your authentication credentials
You can request data deletion at any time through the app or by contacting us.
6. Guest Mode
If you use Daniarmario in Guest Mode:
- All data is stored only on your local device
- No data is synchronized to the cloud
- No account is created
- Logging out permanently deletes all Guest Mode data
7. Multi-Device Synchronization
When logged in with an account:
- Your wardrobe data automatically synchronizes across all devices using the same account
- Changes made on one device appear on all connected devices
- Synchronization occurs when opening the app, returning to the app, or pulling to refresh
8. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active
- Deleted items are permanently removed from both local and cloud storage
- Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems
9. Children's Privacy
Daniarmario is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in data centers located outside your country of residence. Supabase maintains data protection standards in compliance with applicable regulations.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
